I am Kate. Well, actually I am Katayoon. It's a long story!

I moved to Canada as a young teen which has since become my home. I had witnessed a lot of problems in that eastern part of the world (like the lack of peanut butter, also the lack of basic human rights). The western world was surely better and I couldn't wait to be immersed in it, oh, the wild and fun things I would do! For someone like me who is obsessed with organization and planning, I launched my life on the "right path". I became an engineer and started working at the age of 22 years old. I designed bridges, water systems, and even helped reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in my local City. So why did life feel like having a heavy and very tight sweater on? What had I done wrong? I felt overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the very same time. I realize no matter where you live on this great planet earth, life remains...very hard. So I decided to ask questions. Someone's got to have some answers, right?!
